# BLK PRIME vs Nothing But Kontent

The clearest difference is monetization model: Nothing But Kontent at free with in-app purchases against BLK PRIME's subscription. Nothing But Kontent also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 7 months) and review sentiment (31% vs 15%). BLK PRIME's advantage is rating (3.5 vs 3.2) and ratings volume (247 vs 48). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BLK PRIME sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Nothing But Kontent sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BLK PRIME holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BLK PRIME has 247 ratings behind it against 48, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of BLK PRIME's written reviews are positive against 31% of Nothing But Kontent's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BLK PRIME ships an update every 7 months, Nothing But Kontent every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
