# Voi vs Nippy micro

The clearest difference is rating: Voi at 4.9 against Nippy micro's 3.8. Voi also leads on ratings volume (9.8K vs 4). Nippy micro's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (50% vs 34%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Voi holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Voi has 9.8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Voi's written reviews are positive against 50% of Nippy micro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Voi ships an update weekly, Nippy micro every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
