# Voi vs weRate

Voi and weRate both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of weRate's written reviews are positive against 34% of Voi's. weRate also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). Voi's advantage is ratings volume (9.8K vs 7). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Voi against 5.0 for weRate. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Voi has 9.8K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 34% of Voi's written reviews are positive against 100% of weRate's.

Voi ships an update weekly, weRate every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
