# Prep Obsessed vs Hello Friends

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Prep Obsessed at 1.9K against Hello Friends's 308. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Prep Obsessed against 5.0 for Hello Friends. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prep Obsessed has 1.9K ratings behind it against 308, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Prep Obsessed ships an update every 3 weeks, Hello Friends every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
