# The Company Game vs Unknown

The clearest difference is update cadence: The Company Game at every 10 days against Unknown's every 6 months. The Company Game also leads on ratings volume (876 vs 8) and price ($1.99 vs $2.99). On rating, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

The Company Game costs $1.99 and Unknown $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Unknown holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Company Game has 876 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of The Company Game's written reviews are positive against 67% of Unknown's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Company Game ships an update every 10 days, Unknown every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
