# Hoc Drop vs STMCAM

The clearest difference is update cadence: STMCAM at every 4 days against Hoc Drop's every 7 months. STMCAM also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hoc Drop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and STMCAM sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hoc Drop ships an update every 7 months, STMCAM every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
