# Watcht for Trakt vs CineSync Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Watcht for Trakt at 4.2 against CineSync Tracker's 3.3. Watcht for Trakt also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (224 vs 3). CineSync Tracker's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and review sentiment (100% vs 71%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Watcht for Trakt sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and CineSync Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Watcht for Trakt holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Watcht for Trakt has 224 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Watcht for Trakt's written reviews are positive against 100% of CineSync Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Watcht for Trakt ships an update monthly, CineSync Tracker every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
