# 3D Modeling, Design vs Cascadeur

The clearest difference is monetization model: Cascadeur at free with in-app purchases against 3D Modeling, Design's subscription. Cascadeur also leads on review sentiment (64% vs 34%). 3D Modeling, Design's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (5.7K vs 303). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 3D Modeling, Design sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Cascadeur sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

3D Modeling, Design holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 3D Modeling, Design has 5.7K ratings behind it against 303, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of 3D Modeling, Design's written reviews are positive against 64% of Cascadeur's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

3D Modeling, Design ships an update every 10 days, Cascadeur monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
