# IdeaSnap vs Noteit

The clearest difference is rating: Noteit at 4.7 against IdeaSnap's 4.1. IdeaSnap's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and review sentiment (79% vs 70%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IdeaSnap sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Noteit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Noteit holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 15 and 36 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of IdeaSnap's written reviews are positive against 70% of Noteit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IdeaSnap ships an update every 3 days, Noteit every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
