# WhatsTheScore? vs Sideout Scoreboard

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sideout Scoreboard at 100% against WhatsTheScore?'s 63%. Sideout Scoreboard also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). WhatsTheScore?'s advantage is rating (3.7 vs 3.3) and ratings volume (27 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WhatsTheScore? holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WhatsTheScore? has 27 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of WhatsTheScore?'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Sideout Scoreboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
