# Learn Spanish with flashcards! vs Match Lingo Language Learning

The clearest difference is ads: Match Lingo Language Learning at none against Learn Spanish with flashcards!'s shown. Match Lingo Language Learning also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 84%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Learn Spanish with flashcards!'s advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 7) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn Spanish with flashcards! sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Match Lingo Language Learning sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Learn Spanish with flashcards! holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Learn Spanish with flashcards! has 1.4K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Learn Spanish with flashcards!'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Match Lingo Language Learning's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Learn Spanish with flashcards! ships an update monthly, Match Lingo Language Learning fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
