# Hemi vs Myndstream

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Myndstream at 86% against Hemi's 32%. Myndstream also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2). Hemi's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hemi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Myndstream asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hemi holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hemi has 2.5K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Hemi's written reviews are positive against 86% of Myndstream's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hemi ships an update every 2 weeks, Myndstream fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
