The clearest difference is price: Hemi at Free against CymaScope Cymatics Visualizer's $12.99. Hemi also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 9). CymaScope Cymatics Visualizer's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (63% vs 32%). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Hemi holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hemi has 2.5K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Hemi's written reviews are positive against 63% of CymaScope Cymatics Visualizer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
