# ST GPS Tracker vs Altitude Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Altitude Pro at every 5 days against ST GPS Tracker's fortnightly. ST GPS Tracker's advantage is iOS requirement (10.3 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ST GPS Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Altitude Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ST GPS Tracker ships an update fortnightly, Altitude Pro every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
