# Old HSN vs Atomic CrossFit

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Old HSN at 900 against Atomic CrossFit's 3. Atomic CrossFit's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 87%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs freemium). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Old HSN against 5.0 for Atomic CrossFit. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Old HSN has 900 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 87% of Old HSN's written reviews are positive against 100% of Atomic CrossFit's.

Old HSN ships an update every 5 weeks, Atomic CrossFit every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
