# Quize vs COS.TV

The clearest difference is update cadence: Quize at fortnightly against COS.TV's every 5 months. Quize also leads on ratings volume (196 vs 27) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). COS.TV's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

COS.TV holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quize has 196 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 74% of Quize's written reviews are positive against 76% of COS.TV's.

Quize ships an update fortnightly, COS.TV every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
