# Space Launch Now vs LaunchX

The clearest difference is rating: Space Launch Now at 4.8 against LaunchX's 4.2. Space Launch Now also leads on ratings volume (32K vs 5) and chart position (#67 vs unranked). LaunchX's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 58%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Space Launch Now sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and LaunchX sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Space Launch Now holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Space Launch Now has 32K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Space Launch Now's written reviews are positive against 100% of LaunchX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Space Launch Now ships an update monthly, LaunchX every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
