# OneCryption vs Ceres Tools

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ceres Tools at none against OneCryption's 5. Ceres Tools also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OneCryption sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per month. Ceres Tools asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for OneCryption against 5.0 for Ceres Tools. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ceres Tools has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
