# OneCryption vs Outpost

The clearest difference is update cadence: Outpost at every 3 weeks against OneCryption's every 4 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OneCryption sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per month and Outpost sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OneCryption ships an update every 4 months, Outpost every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
