# timer. vs One Tap Timer

The clearest difference is ads: timer. at none against One Tap Timer's shown. timer. also leads on review sentiment (63% vs 50%) and ratings volume (170 vs 33). One Tap Timer's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. timer. sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and One Tap Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

One Tap Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: timer. has 170 ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of timer.'s written reviews are positive against 50% of One Tap Timer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

timer. ships an update every 3 months, One Tap Timer every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
