# MyChamps vs Bracket Maker

The clearest difference is rating: MyChamps at 5.0 against Bracket Maker's 4.4. MyChamps also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (80% vs 52%). Bracket Maker's advantage is ratings volume (224 vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyChamps sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and Bracket Maker sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyChamps holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bracket Maker has 224 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of MyChamps's written reviews are positive against 52% of Bracket Maker's.

MyChamps ships an update every 3 weeks, Bracket Maker every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
