# GlobalProtect™ vs Slack for Intune

The clearest difference is rating: GlobalProtect™ at 4.4 against Slack for Intune's 2.9. GlobalProtect™ also leads on ratings volume (2.8K vs 640) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Slack for Intune's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and chart position (#175 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GlobalProtect™ holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.8K and 640 respectively.
