# A vs M11 Transponder

The clearest difference is review sentiment: A at 56% against M11 Transponder's 4%. M11 Transponder's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

M11 Transponder holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: M11 Transponder has 42 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of A's written reviews are positive against 4% of M11 Transponder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

A ships an update every 2 months, M11 Transponder fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
