# LightX vs Ditch

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ditch at none against LightX's 9. Ditch also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks). LightX's advantage is ratings volume (33K vs 1). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LightX sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Ditch asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ditch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LightX has 33K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LightX ships an update every 2 weeks, Ditch daily. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
