# Double Good vs RLD Input

The clearest difference is rating: Double Good at 4.9 against RLD Input's 4.0. Double Good also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (44K vs 6). RLD Input's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 89%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Double Good holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Double Good has 44K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Double Good's written reviews are positive against 100% of RLD Input's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Double Good ships an update every 3 days, RLD Input every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 13, 2026 respectively.
