# Hy vs Snack Shack App

The clearest difference is rating: Snack Shack App at 5.0 against Hy's 4.2. Snack Shack App also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.6). Hy's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (20K vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Snack Shack App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hy has 20K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
