# RV Trip Diary vs RV Checkit!

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RV Checkit! at none against RV Trip Diary's 1. RV Trip Diary's advantage is ratings volume (716 vs 6) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RV Trip Diary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. RV Checkit! asks for nothing beyond the download.

RV Trip Diary holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RV Trip Diary has 716 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of RV Trip Diary's written reviews are positive against 75% of RV Checkit!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
