# Add Watermark vs Prit

The clearest difference is ads: Prit at none against Add Watermark's shown. Prit also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). Add Watermark's advantage is ratings volume (5.9K vs 4) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Add Watermark sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Prit sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.89 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Add Watermark holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Add Watermark has 5.9K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Add Watermark's written reviews are positive against 91% of Prit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Add Watermark ships an update every 2 weeks, Prit weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
