# MyDocs with KSS vs BARBRI

The clearest difference is rating: BARBRI at 4.6 against MyDocs with KSS's 3.6. BARBRI also leads on ratings volume (2.9K vs 20). MyDocs with KSS's advantage is review sentiment (58% vs 17%) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BARBRI holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BARBRI has 2.9K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of MyDocs with KSS's written reviews are positive against 17% of BARBRI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyDocs with KSS ships an update every 8 days, BARBRI every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
