# AnywheRe vs Visual Timer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Visual Timer at 100% against AnywheRe's 75%. Visual Timer also leads on ratings volume (4 vs 1). AnywheRe's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AnywheRe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of AnywheRe's written reviews are positive against 100% of Visual Timer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AnywheRe ships an update every 2 months, Visual Timer every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
