# Crazy Eights vs Crazy Eights Elite

The clearest difference is rating: Crazy Eights Elite at 4.5 against Crazy Eights's 3.8. Crazy Eights's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crazy Eights Elite sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Crazy Eights asks for nothing beyond the download.

Crazy Eights Elite holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crazy Eights has 22 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Crazy Eights's written reviews are positive against 50% of Crazy Eights Elite's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
