# RXSmartCam vs Aaron

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RXSmartCam at 100% against Aaron's 46%. RXSmartCam also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.0). Aaron's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (45 vs 6). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aaron sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. RXSmartCam asks for nothing beyond the download.

Aaron holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aaron has 45 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of RXSmartCam's written reviews are positive against 46% of Aaron's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RXSmartCam ships an update every 2 weeks, Aaron monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
