# BS HT vs SEPass

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SEPass at 100% against BS HT's 25%. SEPass also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). BS HT's advantage is ratings volume (55 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SEPass holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BS HT has 55 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 25% of BS HT's written reviews are positive against 100% of SEPass's.

BS HT ships an update every 3 months, SEPass fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
