# queues vs Arc

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: queues at none against Arc's 3. queues also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 64%) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Arc's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arc sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. queues asks for nothing beyond the download.

Arc holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 39 and 25 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of queues's written reviews are positive against 64% of Arc's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

queues ships an update monthly, Arc every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
