# Edifier Connect vs Wren

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wren at 100% against Edifier Connect's 40%. Wren also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15). Edifier Connect's advantage is ratings volume (2.6K vs 3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wren holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Edifier Connect has 2.6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 40% of Edifier Connect's written reviews are positive against 100% of Wren's.
