# Countdown vs Final

The clearest difference is rating: Countdown at 4.8 against Final's 1.0. Countdown also leads on ratings volume (187K vs 1) and chart position (#49 vs unranked). Final's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Final sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown has 187K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Countdown ships an update every 5 days, Final every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
