# CamBoat™ vs CONNECT

The clearest difference is update cadence: CONNECT at every 2 months against CamBoat™'s every 31 months. CamBoat™'s advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CamBoat™ ships an update every 31 months, CONNECT every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
