# Evoday vs Dots

The clearest difference is monetization model: Dots at free against Evoday's free with in-app purchases. Dots also leads on review sentiment (98% vs 90%) and device support (3 vs 1). Evoday's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 226). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Evoday sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Dots sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Evoday against 4.9 for Dots. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Evoday has 1.4K ratings behind it against 226, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of Evoday's written reviews are positive against 98% of Dots's.

Evoday ships an update every 10 days, Dots every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
