# Intermoda vs BB Branded

The clearest difference is ads: Intermoda at none against BB Branded's shown. Intermoda also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). BB Branded's advantage is review sentiment (78% vs 60%) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Intermoda against 5.0 for BB Branded. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BB Branded has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of Intermoda's written reviews are positive against 78% of BB Branded's.

Intermoda ships an update every 2 months, BB Branded every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
