# Fullscreen Clock vs Big Text

The clearest difference is ads: Big Text at none against Fullscreen Clock's shown. Big Text also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 76%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Fullscreen Clock's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 1) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fullscreen Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Big Text sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Big Text holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fullscreen Clock has 2.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 76% of Fullscreen Clock's written reviews are positive against 100% of Big Text's.

Fullscreen Clock ships an update every 9 days, Big Text every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
