# Ling vs Namfus

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Namfus at none against Ling's 22. Namfus also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Ling's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (16K vs 1). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ling sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Namfus asks for nothing beyond the download.

Namfus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ling has 16K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
