# Zubale vs Asound

The clearest difference is rating: Zubale at 4.7 against Asound's 3.0. Zubale also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (22 vs 2). Asound's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 27%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Zubale holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zubale has 22 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Zubale's written reviews are positive against 50% of Asound's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Zubale ships an update every 3 weeks, Asound every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
