# Dinos Royale vs OVERDOX

The clearest difference is monetization model: OVERDOX at free with in-app purchases against Dinos Royale's subscription. OVERDOX also leads on ratings volume (4.3K vs 842). Dinos Royale's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dinos Royale sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and OVERDOX sells 19 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Dinos Royale against 4.7 for OVERDOX. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OVERDOX has 4.3K ratings behind it against 842, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 80% of Dinos Royale's written reviews are positive against 71% of OVERDOX's.

Dinos Royale ships an update every 2 weeks, OVERDOX every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
