# STITCH by Monoprice vs HINT Control

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HINT Control at 66% against STITCH by Monoprice's 28%. HINT Control also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 10 months). STITCH by Monoprice's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (793 vs 114). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

STITCH by Monoprice holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: STITCH by Monoprice has 793 ratings behind it against 114, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of STITCH by Monoprice's written reviews are positive against 66% of HINT Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

STITCH by Monoprice ships an update every 10 months, HINT Control every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
