# CutIt New vs Junkyard Keeper

The clearest difference is update cadence: Junkyard Keeper at monthly against CutIt New's every 36 months. Junkyard Keeper also leads on ratings volume (43K vs 3) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). CutIt New's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 29%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CutIt New sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Junkyard Keeper sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Junkyard Keeper holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Junkyard Keeper has 43K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of CutIt New's written reviews are positive against 29% of Junkyard Keeper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CutIt New ships an update every 36 months, Junkyard Keeper monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
