# Ringtone Maker vs Ringtones Maker

The clearest difference is rating: Ringtone Maker at 4.2 against Ringtones Maker's 1.3. Ringtone Maker also leads on ratings volume (3.4K vs 4). Ringtones Maker's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ringtone Maker sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Ringtones Maker asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ringtone Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ringtone Maker has 3.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Ringtone Maker's written reviews are positive against 67% of Ringtones Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
