# Ella Verbs vs Fluentera

The clearest difference is rating: Ella Verbs at 4.9 against Fluentera's 2.3. Ella Verbs also leads on ratings volume (5.5K vs 3) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ella Verbs sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Fluentera sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ella Verbs holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ella Verbs has 5.5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ella Verbs ships an update every 3 days, Fluentera every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
