# Nex vs The Force Guide

The clearest difference is ads: Nex at none against The Force Guide's shown. Nex also leads on rating (3.4 vs 3.0) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). The Force Guide's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nex holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nex has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Nex ships an update every 4 months, The Force Guide every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
