# Auto Assistant vs CDE Smartband

The clearest difference is rating: CDE Smartband at 4.2 against Auto Assistant's 1.2. CDE Smartband also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 9 months). Auto Assistant's advantage is ratings volume (714 vs 62) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CDE Smartband holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Auto Assistant has 714 ratings behind it against 62, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 4% of Auto Assistant's written reviews are positive against 0% of CDE Smartband's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Auto Assistant ships an update every 9 months, CDE Smartband every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
