# Private Web Browser Incognito vs Vivid Browser

The clearest difference is rating: Private Web Browser Incognito at 4.5 against Vivid Browser's 3.9. Private Web Browser Incognito also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (5.8K vs 17). Vivid Browser's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Private Web Browser Incognito sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Vivid Browser asks for nothing beyond the download.

Private Web Browser Incognito holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Private Web Browser Incognito has 5.8K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Private Web Browser Incognito's written reviews are positive against 64% of Vivid Browser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Private Web Browser Incognito ships an update monthly, Vivid Browser every 8 months. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
